In this very first episode of The Local Method I talk about:
- What becoming a market leader is all about
- A little about my journey so far
- What I hope this podcast accomplishes for you
What is a Market Leader and Why Should You Care?
Being a Market Leader in your community for your business or industry should be every businesses goal in my opinion. Your business has a personality. The way you solve a need, interact with your customers and how people interact with you give your business a personality.
It has never been easier to use technology to show your local community about why your customers should do business with you.
Once you learn the techniques and strategies to use technology to get your message out there, you will become a Market Leader. You will become a content creating machine.
A Little About Me
My father fled Hungary in 1956 and came to Canada where he worked where ever he could until he finally saved enough money to start his own business, a pool hall. A few years after starting he expanded the business by bringing on some of his fellow countrymen.
I grew up as the “luckiest kid” in my school. You will find out what I mean when you listen to the show.
Over the last two years I have devoured all I possibly can about using the internet to drive business. Soon after I started it became obvious to us marketers that local businesses could benefit from the techniques the online marketers were using. Things like social media, video, email marketing and much more.
What Can You Expect From The Local Method Podcast
Through the weekly podcast you will learn what is working right now for my clients as they become market leaders. In between shows there will be blog posts with tips and strategies. Sometimes even video tutorials. (I love making videos!)
If all goes well, I plan do interview some of my mentors and members of the communities I belong to who also help local businesses with their online marketing.
My ultimate goal is to teach, share and build a community of people who want to learn how to become market leaders with their business in their community.
