How To Get The Most Out Of Your Facebook Page
On my recent trip to Blogworld NYC in June, I was surprised to see a familiar face in the hallway between presentations. It happened to be David Foster of Hubze. I had been a customer of theirs for almost a year. His company was one of the first in the industry to offer an easy solution for businesses and consultants to create awesome looking Facebook Pages. I don’t know why I was so surprised to see him but it didn’t stop me from introducing myself.
We had some time before the next presentation and had a great conversation about the ever changing landscape that has become Facebook, David’s recent entry into the Podcasting realm and general stuff about Blogworld. I was thrilled to learn that he had also been “trained” in podcasting by my friend Cliff Ravenscraft of the Podcast Answerman. (Most of the people at Blogworld had been trained by Cliff or knew of him).

That night when I got back to my apartment (it was close to 11 pm) I found David’s Blogworld Report from that very day and had a listened. It was entertaining and informative. However I was envious. He had seen at least three celebrities while walking the streets of New York while I had seen NONE. Not fair.
David and I had a Skype chat for about 35 minutes the other day. I wanted to get my listeners an experts opinion on how to get the most out of your Facebook Fan Page. I got that and a lot more.

The iTunes Podcast Review Problem
On the show I talk about how there could be an inaccuracy in how podcasts are rated in iTunes. It seems when more people agree with a review, it pushes that particular review to the top of the list for people to see. This may not be the best way to show the quality of a podcast that may have had a slow start but has now got it together.
Make sure to not only rate and review your favorite podcasts to help the producers but to also “Agree with …” good reviews in iTunes.
